Little Nut Tree is the official follow up to the Grammy award winning Catch That Train and first musical mixed bag family album from Dan Zanes and Friends in five years.
This 16 track collection is a return to the age-desegregated 21st century social music that has earned Dan Zanes a place at the forefront of the family music genre.
Zanes recorded Little Nut Tree in his ramshackle and homespun studio at Festival Five Records in Brooklyn where friends and guests dropped in and out through the spring and summer for tea, a few laughs, and some musical collaboration.
The album is presented in a 16 panel cardboard book format featuring the artwork of longtime DZAF favorite Donald Saaf.
